Marginal Mind Matters NPC. (Margins) is a registered not-for-profit company working to help socially excluded groups cope with their internal suffering through self-help and support groups.

The podcast series aimed to empower the socially excluded by demonstrating that they possess the ability to break free from social exclusion and attain the lives they desire.
The Brief:
The task entails launching a podcast series on social exclusion to raise awareness, foster empathy, and inspire change, targeting a diverse audience with engaging episodes featuring expert interviews and personal stories, supported by educational resources, social media engagement, and partnerships, all while prioritising cost-effectiveness through volunteer assistance to spark dialogue and drive tangible action.
My Role:
I produced and executed a podcast series, curating and enhancing received audio files in MP3 format by incorporating videos, images, and text to create engaging content. Utilising tools such as Audacity, Canva, and Veed.io, I ensured each episode was enriched with multimedia elements. Additionally, I managed hosting on platforms like YouTube and Spotify for Podcasters, while overseeing audience engagement and promotion through social media, the website, and Mailchimp. Google Analytics tracked performance, facilitating an efficient workflow and maximising audience impact throughout the series.

Key Insights and Results:
The 20-part podcast series generated significant outcomes on YouTube, with 1.4K total views over a 9 month period, 162 hours of watch time and a gain of 102 new subscribers. Social media engagement also saw a significant rise of 128%, while email marketing campaigns improved open rates by 92%.
These findings highlight the podcast's impactful contribution to enhancing brand visibility, driving traffic, and boosting engagement across digital platforms.
